A little about me

I’m a lifelong lover of stories. I started learning to read early, sounding out the words in favorite books that had been read to me so many times I practically knew them by heart.

I suppose I was always going to be a storyteller.

Nowadays, I’m especially drawn to stories about women who, like me, are in their second act of life. Not because we have everything figured out, but because we absolutely don’t!

There’s something to be said for reaching a point in life and realizing there’s a whole hell of a lot of story left to be told.

Maybe you’re a little like me. Maybe your nest is empty now. Maybe you’ve made a career change. Or maybe the marriage didn’t work out. Maybe this new chapter looks nothing like the life you had envisioned.

And maybe that’s where things start to get interesting.

The stories I love to tell

I love stories with relatable characters. And I especially enjoy stories where their lives are a little messy, often complicated, and sometimes ordinary—with just a touch of the paranormal.

You’ll find characters navigating ordinary midlife problems alongside decidedly unordinary situations. You might find ghosts, grim reapers, supernatural abilities, or something completely unexpected.

But there will always be humor and heart.
